Diary Update

The 2009 Australian International Three Day Event (Adelaide) is on November 13 to 15th and is hosting the Trans Tasman Championships.  This prestigious 4* event, is one of only 6 worldwide each year, (Burghley, Badminton, Kentucky, Pau & Luhmulen). This year Adelaide was in danger of cancellation due to a budget shortfall.

The Australian International 3 DE has the unique distinction of being the only 4* 3DE in the Southern Hemisphere, and it is of vital importance to retain this prestigious event in Adelaide now, and into the future, for the benefit of all Australian based riders vying for Olympic & World Championship Australian Team selection.

Northern Hemisphere events receive incredible sponsorship from several major companies, put up substantial prize money as well as fantastic media coverage.

Thirty one stallion services have been donated for this Auction which is to be posted online to raise money for this event.

Bid on a Stallion of your choice!

See you at Adelaide to watch the Aussies win the Trans Tasman!

World Cup Eventing Final

September 2008

Kevin Placed 10th in Deauville, France at the HSBC World Cup Eventing Final.

Kevin only arrived in England a fortnight ago with Hufflepuff, Gameplay and fantastic groom Charlotte Price. He has been based at Clayton & Lucinda Fredericks yard.

Going into the competition Kevin was the FEI World Cup rankings leader. He made a fantastic debut on European soil despite having the bad luck of being drawn first in the dressage. Gameplay proved to Europe what Kevin & his coach Tony Manca, have known for a while, that he is a brilliant jumper and a fast galloper, making the cross country course look easy. He finished exactly on the optimum time of 7min 7sec. Kevin had 8 showjumping faults, leaving him in 10th.

Thank you to all of the people who flew over to show their Aussie support. Owners Emma Dougall, John, Karen & Dina Healy, Len & Cynthia McNab, Leah Howarth, Tony Manca, the Fredericks and the Price Family.

A huge thank you to our sponsors Mitavite, Aitkens Saddlery, Luc Childeric & Chilla.

Congratulations to Clayton Fredericks (AUS) who won the HSBC Eventing Final.
